After a slim and very important win last weekend against the hummers Lampard now has a tough challenge to make a back-to-back win at st mary stadium. Everton will be, visiting the saint this afternoon who have not won their last two matches. Southampton faced their last defeat last weekend while visiting Aston villa. 1-0 was enough to say goodbye to any points. This time the saints will be at home which gives them the home advantage and considering how poor form the opponent is a chance to pocket all the 3 points.

As for Everton. they have to reclaim their known dominance back into the top fright. They have the same number of points as their tonight’s opponent Southampton, above them by better goal deference. Both these teams have seven points taking the 13th and 14th spots. A win for either team has the potential to place either one of them as far as the 7th position.
