Leicester City suffered their 18th league defeat of the season against Aston Villa in midweek, following the departure of Brendan Rodgers. Prior to that, they had only managed to secure one point from their last six league games. Meanwhile, despite Bournemouth’s recent victories against Liverpool and Fulham in their last five league matches, they find themselves just two points ahead of Leicester and four points above the bottom-placed Southampton after losing 2-0 at home to Brighton on Tuesday.
Leicester City will be without Dewsbury-Hall due to suspension, while James Justin, Ryan Bertrand, and Youri Tielemans are set to miss out due to injuries. Jonny Evans is back in training but remains doubtful due to a thigh injury. However, the defense looks to be covered with Wout Faes and Harry Souttar as the two center-backs. Leicester’s possible starting lineup includes Iversen in goal, Castagne, Souttar, Faes, and Kristiansen in defense, Mendy, Ndidi in midfield, Tete, Maddison, and Barnes in the midfield, and Daka up front.
Bournemouth’s Junior Stanislas and Ryan Fredericks are both unavailable due to injuries, while Marcos Senesi’s hamstring problem leaves him doubtful to face Leicester. If Senesi doesn’t pass the fitness test, Illya Zabarnyi could make his club debut at center-back alongside Jack Stephens. Marcus Tavernier is expected to start on the right side, with Dominic Solanke up front. Bournemouth’s possible starting lineup includes Neto in goal, Smith, Stephens, Zabarnyi, and Kelly in defense, Tavernier, Lerma, Billing, and Ouattara in midfield, Traore up front, and Solanke as the lone striker.
