Although it is not the worst start for these two teams, it has generally not been a very good one either. The poor performance has pushed these two teams to the bottom half of the table. however, despite both teams being in the bottom half, Leeds has been doing a better job in getting points than Villa. They are still a point clear of the villa with a game in hand working to their favor.
Leeds are currently in 13th position showing strength in the new season under the new American coach. The team despite losing their best player in Raphina, will be keen to end the season strong after bearer surviving the last one. Aston Villa on the other hand have started the season poorly despite being in the fourth position. Under the relatively new coach Steven Gerrad, they have looked lost with their game plan and lacked any conviction for what they aim for in the new season.
This is a tough season for any team to compete in the premier league. liverpool for instance lost a game yesterday to a recently promoted team who hasd just lost their manager less than two weeks ago to chelsea.
Super Sunday means supper game. This is one of those games that you can’t wait to see especially with the current form both teams are in. Manchester United will be visiting their home rivals Man City for the first time this season. In the past, Man U has beat the blues despite being at a bad place performance-wise. This game will be defining their place in the race for the title.
A win for manchester city might be what they need to be at the top of the table arsenal losses in yet another derby against their north London rivals Spurs. Spurs are currently equal on points with man city which means if man u wins they have the potential also to lead the table. Mancity and spurs have not lost a single game this season and if they want to keep their run going will have to make sure they don’t lose.
It’s been a year since man u won a title. It tracks back to the time Sir Alex Ferguson was the manager. They have however won all their last 4 matches the only other team after arsenal to win four or more games in a row. It is important to note they are the only team who have beat the current leader Arsenal. The red devils also have a game in hand which means if they were to win and play and win the game in hand they will be above man city.
