Man City, after beating Dortmund and Sevilla, are now faced with the simple task of beating Copenhagen to solidify their lead in Group G. Man City is the only team yet to be beaten in the Premier League. However, they are in second place behind the Gunners who have only lost one game. For the last five years, City has won 4 league titles among other trophies but never the champions league.
Pep has won the title before with Bayern and Barcelona but seems to have trouble winning with man city. He has recently signed a goal-scoring machine Haaland. He is currently the top score, at least before the game week started.
There are only so many points one can take in the group stage but the real challenge is at the knockout stage. This has been a challenging point for Man City anyway in the past.
As for Copenhagen, they have not won any match in this season’s champions league. they will not be going down without a fight despite having little firepower. They will try to see if they can be the David in the Goliath story
Today Chelsea is the other England team who will be hoping to beat their worthy opponent Milan. They have a dry spell in the champions league this season and will be hoping to win their first match of the season.
Man city is at home the ground where Haaland will be looking to make his mark again. hee has already scored 3 hattricks to break the record of the fastest 3 hattricks in the history of the premier league.
