Chelsea VS Brighton LIVE !!

Frank Lampard, Chelsea’s caretaker manager, has suggested that he may give some players their first opportunity under his management when Chelsea face Brighton at Stamford Bridge. Lampard has only been back at the club for a week and is preparing for his third game in charge, leaving him little time to make assessments of his players on the training pitch.
Players such as Noni Madueke, Benoit Badiashile, and Carney Chukwuemeka will be hoping to earn a place in Lampard’s squad and gain some valuable minutes on the pitch. However, with little time to impress, they may face a tough task. Additionally, the former two players will be ineligible for the return leg against Real Madrid.
Lampard has emphasized his desire to give players an opportunity if they deserve it and has suggested that Saturday’s game against Brighton will provide a chance for some players who did not play in the Champions League or the last Premier League game to prove their worth. Kepa Arrizabalaga will retain his place as goalkeeper, with Edouard Mendy still carrying an injury. Reece James remains the obvious choice on the right of defence, while Ben Chilwell may be utilized on the left. Thiago Silva may also start for the second game in a row to continue building his fitness.
Injury has ruled out Kalidou Koulibaly for several weeks, leaving Trevoh Chalobah and Benoit Badiashile competing for a spot in the backline. However, Wesley Fofana could also start, potentially denying both players the chance to play. Mason Mount, who showed some promise in the Champions League, could also feature after recovering from injury. Lampard may choose to play him in an advanced midfield position if he decides to rest Joao Felix. N’Golo Kante and Enzo Fernandez will likely form the midfield partnership.
Lampard may also look to Kai Havertz to add more attacking options to challenge Brighton and Real Madrid’s defences. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be an option from the bench due to his ineligibility against Real Madrid.
With a variety of options in the wide positions, Lampard may also consider giving January signings Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk a chance to start. Overall, Lampard seems determined to give players the opportunity to prove themselves and earn a place in his squad.
