Benfica will be playing against Inter Milan in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League at Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica. Benfica has been performing very well in the Champions League this season, going unbeaten to finish top of their group that included powerhouses like Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, and making light work of Belgian champions Club Brugge in the Round of 16. They will be hoping to bounce back from their recent loss against FC Porto, which was only their second defeat following a loss in Braga 17 matches earlier.
Benfica will be without Goncalo Guedes, Julian Draxler, Mihailo Ristic, and Nicolas Otamendi for Tuesday’s showdown. Inter Milan has been struggling in Serie A lately, with recent dropped points becoming a significant issue, and they have only scored one goal from open play in more than 500 minutes of action. Injuries will not be a significant issue for the Italian team, but they will have to finish their chances if they want to advance to the Champions League semi-finals.
